I create an original artwork live at your special event, from weddings and launches to gala evenings and private celebrations. If you like, your guests can pick up a brush and help fill in the colours. Either way, you keep a one-of-a-kind painting of the occasion.

An artwork that becomes part of the occasion
Guests gather to watch the artwork take shape, and it quickly becomes a talking point of the evening. You can also make it interactive: during canapés, guests pick up a brush and add their own colour while I guide them. Either way, the finished painting becomes a memory of the day that you hang in your home for years to come. Like everything I create, no two live paintings are ever the same.

Can’t have me there?
A painting for your guests to colour in
If I can’t be at your event, you can still have a one-of-a-kind artwork made by everyone who celebrates with you. I create the line artwork on canvas in my studio and send it to you with paint and brushes, so your guests can fill in the colours on the day.
- Choose your painting. Tell me about your event and we choose the subject and size together.
- I create and send it. I draw the artwork by hand and send it with the paint and brushes your guests need.
- Your guests paint it in. They add the colours at your event, and you keep the finished painting.
The canvas is priced by size, using the price list below. Paint and courier are quoted for your event.
Meet the musician
Live music by Jakoos Scheepers
My husband, Jakoos Scheepers, is a well-known South African musician. Every December you will find him on stage at the wine festival at Rosebarn, and he also plays at Ferry Fest on the banks of the Gamtoos River.
He brings his own professional speakers, PA system and sound gear, all included in the price. He also DJs and brings lighting, included in the package, so your music is taken care of from the ceremony to the dance floor.

Add a centrepiece
A portrait to welcome your guests
I can also paint a portrait before your event, of a couple, a guest of honour or the people you are celebrating, to display as a centrepiece on the day. It pairs beautifully with a live painting: the portrait welcomes your guests, and the live painting comes to life in front of them.

The painting you keep is priced separately from my time at your event. Unframed works are painted on a wooden canvas and can hang on the wall as they are. Any other size can be made on request.

Good to know
What kind of events do you paint at?
Weddings, wine estates, corporate functions, launches, gala evenings, birthdays and other special celebrations.
What is included in the R10 000?
My time at your event and creating the artwork live. If you would like your guests to join in, I guide them as they paint in the colours and bring all the paint and brushes. The artwork itself is priced according to the size you choose.
Do you travel outside the Eastern Cape?
Yes. Travel and accommodation are not included in the package price and are quoted according to your venue.
Do our guests have to paint?
No, it is completely up to you. Many hosts simply want the artwork created live as part of the occasion. If you would like guests to join in, no experience is needed: I draw the full artwork first, so they only fill in the colours, and I stay at the easel to help.
What can you paint?
We decide on the subject together beforehand. When guests paint in the colours, I recommend flowers, cacti or other botanicals, because they are easy and fun for everyone to colour in. Portraits and figures are harder for guests to paint, so I suggest these as a centrepiece that I paint for you before the day.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as possible. I only take on a limited number of events, so dates fill up quickly.
